Enterprise PLM Systems Technical Program Management & Governance
Partner: Siemens Digital Industries Software | End Client: Huntington Ingalls Industries-Newport News Shipbuilding (HII-NNS) & AMSEC
Tenure: May 2016 – March 2021
Pathfinder IT Solutions delivered high-impact, multi-million dollar program governance, enterprise solution architecture, and infrastructure stabilization services to accelerate the digital transformation of prime naval defense assets. Serving as a trusted specialized partner to Siemens, Pathfinder successfully de-risked complex software deployments across critical programs, including the Virginia-Class and Columbia-Class submarine lines and Ford-Class aircraft carrier platforms.
Program & Contract Governance: Operationalized Fixed-Price, Time & Materials (T&M), and Level of Effort (LOE) advisory streams. Managed multi-tier financial allocations, structured governance loops, and Basis of Estimates (BOEs) to ensure contract profitability and flawless milestone execution.
Enterprise Architecture & Lifecycle Management: Commanded technical discovery, gap analyses, and deployment strategies for large-scale migrations (Teamcenter V11 upgrades), Application Lifecycle Management (ALM/Polarion), and Service Lifecycle Management (SLM) modules.
Defense Cybersecurity & Cloud Isolation: Advised on multi-tier system topologies, DevSecOps deployment integration, and network isolation models (working turnover to stackArmor) to rigorously protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) under strict STIG and NOFORN compliance.
Advanced Simulation & Diagnostics: Spearheaded multi-disciplinary Engineering Services roadmaps, combining CAD geometry, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) data, and Kinematic Motion Simulation (Simcenter 3D) to isolate root-cause mechanical and electrical defects on mission-critical carrier assets.
Enterprise PLM Operations, DevSecOps, & Agile Transformation
Prime Contractors: Siemens Government Technologies (SGT), Saalex Corp / Spalding Inc
End Client: US Navy NAVAIR (Aviation Product Lifecycle Management / PMW 200)
Tenure: Feb 2021 – Present
Pathfinder IT Solutions delivers enterprise-scale Program Operations, DevSecOps architecture, and Agile transition governance for the U.S. Navy Aviation Product Lifecycle Management (AvPLM) program. Anchored by a senior leadership team with deep expertise in Navy systems engineering, digital twins, and additive manufacturing, Pathfinder drives multi-tier environment upgrades and cross-pillar operational roadmaps.
Program Operations & Governance: Served as the operational execution engine for AvPLM. Championed the design and deployment of the program’s premier Risk Process, authored and maintained AvPLM-to-PMW 200 communication roadmaps (PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Project Online / PowerBI), and assisted in strategic planning used for POM financial and sustainment planning profiles.
Agile Architecture & Metrics-Driven Decisions: Spearheaded the transition to a high-velocity "Priority Scrum" approach, managing parallel Sprint Grooming, Development, and Test/Release pipelines. Designed and deployed advanced Jira Service Dashboards and efficiency metrics gadgets to enable data-driven executive decision-making.
Cloud & Infrastructure Modernization: Governed high-stakes on-premises-to-cloud migrations, secured new Risk Management Framework (RMF) Authorities to Operate (ATOs), and coached teams through major concurrent Siemens Teamcenter and eQube MI enterprise upgrades.
Mission-Critical Capability Delivery: Guided Government leads in unblocking and delivering critical Additive Manufacturing capabilities integration into the PLM, bringing in the configuration management and rigorous testing workflows for flight-critical and safety-of-part naval aviation assets.
